Careers:
Production Associate, Sheet Metal Fabrication– Full Time ​
Associates in these positions prepare sheet metal stock for application to finished product. Job duties vary within the Fabrication Department and are interchangeable.​

Primary Responsibilities:​
• Operates saws, sanders, punch presses, press brakes, turrets, and minor assembly and packaging operations.​
• Verification of part dimensions within stated tolerances using a variety of measuring equipment. ​
• Meeting production and quality standards. ​
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.​
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervision or Management.​
• Cleans and maintains work area.​
• Ability to work in a team environment.​

Basic Qualifications:​
• Maintains regular attendance.
• Experience working in a team-based environment.
• Basic computer skills.
​
Preferred Qualifications​
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.​
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings or technical drawings.​
• Ability to use common measuring systems and measurement tools.
Production Associate, Sheet Metal Assembly - Full Time​
Associates in these positions utilize a variety of hand tools and related equipment to assemble raw and semi-finished material into finished Metro product. Job duties vary within the Assembly Department and are interchangeable. Associates are required to have the ability to perform all job duties within the department to support various functions. Attention to detail is required and all associates must meet standards for acceptable production and quality.​

Primary Responsibilities:​
• Assembles various components of Metro product to manufacture customized finished product. ​
• Reads and interprets orders to ensure the finished product meets customer orders.​
• Uses computer to research product specifications. ​
• Check parts dimensions using a variety of measuring equipment.​
• Must have basic math skills.​
• Meet production and quality standards.​
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. ​
• Ability to work in a team environment​
• Cleans and maintains work area.​
• Must be available to work overtime as business needs dictate​

Preferred Qualifications​
• Previous experience in sheet metal assembly.​

Shipping Associate – Full Time
Associates are required to have the ability to perform all job duties within the department to provide proper support.

Primary Responsibilities:​
•Receive product or material into the Distribution Center by unloading carriers or containers and putting product into inventory.
•Assist with the management of inventory through cycle counts and through the entry of appropriate records.
•Pick product or material based on customer orders and transport same to loading or staging areas. Load carriers and containers as required.
•Working by hand, or with hand equipment, load or unload containers which are not palletized.
•In preparing orders, make and apply labels.
•Use computer to locate product or material as needed.
•Inspect product and/or packaging for quality.
•Meet production and quality standards.
•Must successfully complete material handling equipment operator training.
•Clean and/or maintain cleanliness of department and general work environment.
•Repetitive lifting is required on a daily basis.
•Perform other duties as assigned by management.
